Punxsutawney’s Rails to Trails is one of my favorite places to exercise and get fresh air. The beauty of God’s creation inspires me: deer, squirrels, owls, hawks, and even bald eagles! Mahoning Creek shows off its fish and water fowl. You never know what you’ll see up ahead on the Trail!
Genesis 1:26 records: Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Psalm 104: O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions....(v24) These all wait for You, that You give them their food in due season...What You give them they gather in; you open Your Hand, they are filled with good...(vs27-28)
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I worship You, the Maker of heaven and earth. Your Creation is beautiful, made with such tender care and fore-thought. Help me to remember that You alone are to be worshiped, not what’s on this planet or in the heavens. Thank You for eyes that see and ears that hear Who You Are and who I am in You. Amen.
The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens... Proverbs 3:19
